My Classic Massage session features a blend of traditional Swedish massage, deep tissue massage as appropriate, and light to moderate stretching of all joints to enhance range-of-motion, increase mobility, and reset muscle length. Light touch throughout the session encourages a unique human bonding experience unlike other massage services. This session is available for 45, 60, or 75-minute sessions.

TOTAL CHILL Massage

The TOTAL CHILL session embraces the need for quiet time. The studio is as dark as practically possible and there is no music. Savor the touch of another person focused on you. Become more deeply aware of the calming effect of touch. No deep pressure work in this session and only light stretching to enhance sense of self. This session is available for 45 or 60-minute sessions.

AFTERGLOW Time

No need to jump up immediately after your massage. Luxuriate in 10 minutes of total "me time" with undisturbed rest in subdued light - with or without music. Let your body savor the sensations just experienced. $10.00 for 10 Minutes.

TENS Add-on to Your Massage Session

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is used at m4mmassage to treat acute or chronic muscular tension, bursitis and tendonitis. TENS is applied in 10-minute increments up to 60 minutes total time.

What is TENS

TENS is a type of pain relief therapy that uses a low-voltage electrical current to block pain or change your perception of pain. The current is applied by a small battery-powered device with electrodes that deliver electrical impulses through the surface of the skin. Electrodes are placed at strategic locations near trigger points (muscle knots) or affected nerves.

How TENS Works (We Think)

TENS therapy works well for a lot of persons. Most persons report pain relief begins immediately after beginning the session and stops within one hour of completing it. There are two theories about how TENS works (1) the electrical current stimulates nerve cells that block the transmission of pain signals. This changes the way you perceive pain, and (2) the electrical current raises the level of endorphins (your body’s natural pain-killing chemicals), which then trigger your body’s pain-relieving power.

Implantable device like a pacemaker, Cancer, Epilepsy, Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), Bleeding disorders, Heart disease.
